Menționam în prima parte despre prezentarea organizației din Cipru, ce m-a îndemnat la mai mult research despre proiectele lor. CCIF Cyprus, cu sediul în Pafos, au o mulțime de proiecte pe conflict management, leadership, incluziune, artă și digital, în intervalul mai-august 2021. Și oamenii lor pe care i-am întâlnit, în speță Loizos, Theopisti și Elena, au fost un mix de experiență, bunătate și distracție.

I mentioned in the first part about the presentation of the organization from Cyprus, which prompted me to do more research about their projects. CCIF Cyprus, based in Paphos, has a lot of projects regarding topics like conflict management, leadership, inclusion, art and digital, between May and August 2021. And their people I met, in this case Loizos, Theopisti and Elena, have it was a mix of experience, kindness and fun.

Quiz-ul despre stilul de management al conflictului a fost foarte interesant, mie mi-a dat ca rezultat ca am un stil acomodabil. Ar fi păcat să nu menționez despre șirul vieții, unde se desenează o linia vieți care să fie delimitată de ziua în care te-ai născut și prezent, apoi împărțită în mai multe subsecțiuni, care să reprezintă aspecte importante din trecut și chiar segmente viitoare despre planuri și ambiții. Aici a fost foarte fain să povestesc cu Miki despre viața fiecăruia, să vedem asemănările dar și diferențele între un nebun călător ca mine și un macedonean din Skopje a cărui viață intrase deja în capitolul logodnă.

The conflict management style quiz was very interesting, in my case it seems that I AM having an accommodating style. It would be a shame not to mention the line of life workshop, where a line of life is drawn that is delimited by the day you were born and present, then divided into several subsections, which represent important aspects of the past and even future segments about plans and ambitions. Here it was very nice to talk to Miki about everyone’s life, to see the similarities but also the differences between a crazy traveler like me and a Macedonian from Skopje whose life had already entered the engagement chapter.

Fiind una din ultimele zile, o chestie extrem de faină a fost un exercitiu cipriot în care eram împărțiti în două rânduri, așezați față în față, doi câte doi, iar fiecare trecea cu ochii închiși prin șir și i se șopteau gânduri bune, de la revedere. A fost un exercițiu foarte emoționat ce s-a lăsat și cu lacrimi de regret. Ideea a fost a Elenei și a fost una foarte inspirată.

In one of the last days, a nice experience was a Cypriot exercise in which we were divided into two rows, seated face to face, two by two, and each passed with his eyes closed in a row and good thoughts were whispered to everyone by turn. It was a very emotional exercise that ended in tears of regret. I must admit that Elena’s idea was a very inspired one.

În ultima zi parcă, cât timp se pregăteau deconturile, ni s-a oferit șansa să facilităm câte un workshop, care doream. Eu am ales să testez din nou formatul meu de accelerator antreprenorial, de construirea a unei afaceri, cu câteva update-uri ca urmare a feedback-ului primit în Luxemburg. Acest proiect ar urma să fie în viitor un proiectul scris și depus, de tip Erasmus + K2 cel mai probabil. Revenind în sala de trainning, lumea părea cât de cât deschisă și intersată, mai mult Sergiu, care insista să mă troleze. Am încercat cu vorba bună, dar la un moment dat n-am mai rezistat și era să-l nimeresc cu un marker. Mai mult decât atât, când era modulul cel mai important, am fost întrerupt de Ragnar, care avea un ghiozdan plin cu monezi și a început să vocifereze nervos despre deconturi. N-a înțeles nimeni ce problemă avea defapt, cert a fost că workshopul meu a ieșit un fail total, nimeni nu mai avea nici un chef, mai ales după ce Ragnar i-a luat la rost, dar l-am scos la capat.

On the last day, during the refunds preparations, we were given the chance to facilitate a workshop. I chose to test my entrepreneurial accelerator format again, about buildining a business, with a few updates following the feedback received in Luxembourg. This project would in the future be a written and submitted project, of the most likely Erasmus + K2 . Returning to the training room, people seemed somehow open and interested, more and so, except Sergiu who insisted on trolling me. I tried to chill him, but at one point I couldn’t resist and I was so close to hit him with a marker. Moreover, when it was the most important part, I was interrupted by Ragnar, who had a backpack full of coins and began to shout nervously about the refunds. Nobody really understood what the problem was, butit was certain that my workshop turned out to be a total fail, no one was in any mood, especially after Ragnar did his number, but I got it over eventually.

Am uitat să menționez, înaintea mea cred că Martin din Cehia a avut un workshop despre respirație. A fost așa bun, că la un moment dat era să adorm 🙂 Tehncile de respirație chiar fac minuni, îți dau o stare de comfort interior fantastic.

I forgot to mention, before me I think Martin from the Czech Republic had a workshop about breathing exercises. It was so good, that at one point I was going to fall asleep 🙂 Breathing techniques really work, it gives you a fantastic inner comfort and peace.

Foarte util a fost și workshopul Mariei despre limbajul corpului, în sensul de cum se utilizează corect și cum se interpretează. A dat și câteva ponturi printre rânduri despre limbajul corpului la un date, ceea ce mi s-a părut foarte tare.

Maria’s workshop about body language was also very useful, in the sense of how it is used correctly and how it is interpreted. She also gave a few tips between the lines about body language on a date, which I thought was very cool.

The Intercultural night

S-ar putea rezuma în multă mâncare ( fiind o singură seară interculturală cu toate țările), concursuri de cultură generală de tip kahoo.it, lecții de flamenco predate de Maria și un concurs de tip puzzle gândit de polonezi. Cea mai fresh și atractivă era clar mâncarea cu influență mediterană, în speță cea a ciprioților și a grecilor. Nici dulciurile turcești și sangria spaniolă nu au fost de ignorat. Bineînțeles că România a pus de toate pe masă, că altfel mă bătea Elena. Am adus Rom, eugenii, zacuscă, cornulețe și pufuleți parcă. Totul a culiminat cu o petrecere, unde Grecia, Macedonia și Cipru au făcut mare show, mai ales fetele. Bineînțeles că nici eu nu m-am lăsat mai prejos, un pic am fost dezamăgit că Elena a ars-o super timid, dar noh era organizatoare până la căpăt. Dar n-am avut stres, le-am luat pe toate la dans. A fost fain că ne împărțeam ba afară, ba înauntru, astfel încât să avem spațiu. Diana nu știu de ce tot insista să-i promit că o să vin cu ea înapoi la cazare, că oricum lucru ăsta nu s-a întâmplat, sucită buzoianca asta :)) Cred că am rămas la final eu, Ragnar, Tzanos, Larisa și cred că Maja și Elena, a și Michails, savurând rock clasic.

The intercultural night could be summarized in a few word by a lot of food (being just one intercultural evening for all countries). Also we had quiz contests, flamenco lessons taught by Maria and a puzzle contest designed by the Polish people. The freshest and most attractive was clearly the food with Mediterranean influence, in this case that of the Cypriots and Greeks. Turkish sweets and Spanish sangria were also appreciated. Of course, Romania put everything on the table, otherwise Elena would kill me. We brought Rom chocolate bar, mashed vegetable, croissants and fluff. The night continued with a party, where Greece, Macedonia and Cyprus put on a great show, especially the girls. Of course I didn’t let myself down either, I was a little disappointed that Elena act super shy, but she was the organizer, she had to behave. But I didn’t stress about it too much, I dance to all the girls. It was nice that we were divided both outside and inside, so that we had enough space inside to have fun. I don’t know why Diana kept insisting to promise her that I join her back to the accommodation, taking into account that this thing didn’t happen anyway, This girl was so twisted :)) Me, Ragnar, Tzanos, Larisa, Maja, Elena, and Michails stayed until the end enjoying old school rock.

Schimbul putem spune că a fost finalizat cu prezentarea unor proiecte de incluziune socială, în felul acesta fiind atins și obiectivul acestei.O sugestie super-faină din partea organizatorilor a fost să ne scriem fiecare goodbye notes pe care să le citim în drumul spre casă. Ce credeți ca mi-a scris mie lumea? Eh, poate vă zic în ultima parte a poveștii 🙂 Ioi și nu am menționat nimic legat de suveniruri.

This exchange have been completed with the presentation of social inclusion projects, achieving the goal of this Erasmus + mobility. A super nice suggestion from the organizers was to write each other goodbye notes and to read on the way home. What do you think the other wrote to me? Eh, maybe I’ll tell you in the last part of the story 🙂 Oh, I didn’t mention anything about souvenirs.
